Luke one's Told that there was a radio station playing Don't chain my heart back in 93 when it was realesed in Usa. But suddenley they stopped playing it and fans were asking why? And the Host was not allowed to play Toto.
So what the fuck is up with the Radio in Usa? Is there some sort of consipiration among radiochannels among there?
It's simple, MONEY. Toto, as commercial as they can be, didn't play by the rules, they dared to to what they wanted. They actually enjoy what they do. Also, they figured out that they have a very loyal fan base, more so in outside of the US, and realized that sucking up to the whims of the labels wouldn't help them any. It's for that reason that I support them. And the fact that they have damm good music! Most of these commercial radio stations have a database of songs and it's not that they don't want to go outside the box, they can't. Hence when they have request hours, you'll only hear the requests that they have in there database, you won't even know about those requests for Simple Life, or Pamela. Hell, most of these stations don't even have DJ's anymore.
