a) few care
b) it's off topic
c) you use it as a work-around to get around the forum lock

And after what I've seen here, I'll speak any damn way I choose - and if you don't like it, you can leave. Or just choose not to read it (as some like Monker like to say).

Um, can I ask...how taking a statement like "shut the fuck up" to be hostile is being "funny?" I'm well-versed in sarcasm, and that wasn't it. Surely, there are more clever ways to make a point than dropping the F bomb constantly, especially from someone who seems to have a brain about them. If this place makes someone THAT angry, maybe it's time for a break. Terrific guy or not, the posts are over-reactionary and rude, IMO. Geez, how many times do we talk about non-Styx stuff here? As far as Journey goes, I've heard nothing but good things about them in recent years, as yes, Froy's an unusual character. lol

2. We go off-topic all the time here
3. The person who originally posted here is a respected member of the Styx community for YEARS.
4. I think foum members here can speak for themsleves regarding what they care and don't care about.

But to the basic premise of Ash's point. The only reason they are here was because at the time the Journey board was locked.

But, we often let others know of shows that we think others on this board might enjoy. Not that I care about many of these bands, but to each their own...

Nope.. Never have seen Journey in concert (probably never will - bands like Journey, REO, Skynyrd, Foreigner etc) haven't played Edmonton or Western Canada for that matter in well over 20 years.

Would I go see the Def Lep/Journey combo? Yeah, but again it's doubtful that one will come north of the border either.

I did like Arrival, but Red 13 and Generations have not impressed me at all.

All of my postings except I believe about John Spinks getting cancer/Outfield news are posted in this forum.

It's definately more civil here then on the Journey board!

So do a lot of us, but your knee jerk reply was out-of-place, and the profanity is getting a little old, especially from someone who prides himself on being intelligent. Nobody in this thread was using the Styx forum as a whipping boy - Mike is a huge Styx fan. He's done band interviews, as well as given a lot of cool stuff to Styx fans. He has NEVER been a sh*t-stirrer. The guy teasing Froy about Neil wanting to use Journey for a paycheck was being sarcastic - I'm sure you knew that. It was FROY he was talking to, for pete sake.
