Styx is mentioned 3 times.

1.re the sympho show with the kids.

2.In a Cars Ocazek interview, how the Cars opened for all kinds of bands in the beginning that they hated,Styx among them.

3.The story of PO8 cover that Dennis and JY hated in the beginning. But with time JY thinks it is favorite Styx cover.(this article is 1/2 page picture included.
They wanted to get a different cover ,but due to time restrictions,a tour planned and so on they had to stick with it.

Saw the article on the album cover, but missed the mention about the sympho show.

I love Classic Rock...there's always tons to read in it.

I love that Mag too, but man talk about expensive here in Canada, I think the last time I looked at a copy, it was like 16 bucks!

Of course JY likes the cover...his mug is the most prominent. :D I would imagine for that same reason it was John Panozzo's least favorite. :?

Well, yes the price may be a bit steep, but compared to a lot of other entertainment ,it is well worth the money for me.I usually end up reading the whole thing.

It is a great mag with well written articles and GREAT PICTURES! These guys certainly care about their subject and do their homework and prep work well. Even in the U.S. it's a bit pricey(9-10 bucks) but is head and shoulders above many others of its ilk. I don't buy too many mags anymore. This is one of the few. And even most other mags on the racks are starting to drastically increase in price.....

UGH - Another magazine I have to go out and try to find! I have to have a copy of this one too.

There are quite a few bands that weren't too pleased touring with Styx back in the day.

I usually find it at Borders or Tower Records out here, Suite.

I once read an interview with Foghat back in the day where they said they loved to crash Styx concerts. Not sure what they meant by that but it sounded like there was a rivalry there too.

Hi Jimmy :)

I'm too lazy to drive to the "big" city today, I have way too many other errands to do with 5 kids today - UGH 86 more days until school starts!!!

The closest Borders is about 25 minutes away!

I'd rather just order on-line if possible :)

I think everyone just loved giving Styx a hard time back then. More and more stories are coming out about this. LOL
