It's time for Froy to go away

I know that I like to goof on Froy, and that for the most part the jokes I pull are taken with a grain of salt. But after reviewing the posts today, I really think that it is time for him to go. I have no problem with differing opinions on the Band, or the passion that people have when it comes to comparing the original line-up and the current. But, to post 3 different boycott posts is just plain rediculous. We get the point - you don't like the current line-up and you are going to voice your displeasure. But for Christs sake - they are a BAND!! They are MUSICIANS!!! You would think that they kidnapped your kid, or have done you some great harm. They haven't - they made a business choice. Like it or not - as much as these guys are musicians - they are also businessmen. Sometimes you make hard decisions that may not be popular to everyone - but you make them to hopefully better the business. Agree with them or not - it is their business. And before you jump on the "DDY was part of the business and they fired him" junk - remember - in todays corporate society - a lot of founding CEO's get forced out of their own companies also. Is it right? Hell, I don't know - but what I do know is that I still enjoy the concerts - both of them - and I enjoy the CD's - all of them. Their music is kind of the soundtrack to my life. I have grown up with them - and now my children are also. Nothing makes me happier than to hear my 10, 9, or 5 year old ask me to put in a Styx CD on a roadtrip - and it happens everytime. It is these things that make a difference - putting smiles on my families faces. To see their faces when they sing along - not caring who the lead singer is - and not caring to know - just enjoying the music. I have more important things in my life to take seriously - I refuse to take the inner workings of a Rock Band become my sole purpose. This is where you and I differ Froy - you obviously do.
If you want to post a Boycott Styx post up - GREAT - free speech and all - but there is no need for 3 posts - it's overkill. I value your opinions Froy - I don't agree with them - but you are free to think and say what you want. But, stop trying to bully the board with only your opinions!! It is childish - and quite frankly I have no time to waste on ignorance.

That's what a lot of us tried to teach some people in the Journey forum recently, too. Like talking to a brick wall.

I thought you were at your summer home without internet connectivity? Either you had a short summer or are back living at home?

I expected nothing less from you. You cannot comprehend my post. That is just sad. No, this is not one of my jokes goofing on you. You missed the point - in fact if you look at it - I actually backed you and your opinions up - by the shortness of you resonse - either you did not understand or I shut you up.
