First of all, Jodes, thanks for the review. Sounded like lots of fun and sounds like DDY and Glen got into the spirit of things.

Secondly, Dennis sang a couple of Jerry Lee Lewis songs, including "Great Balls of Fire" at his Chicago HOB show. He also played a LOT of keyboards at that show. His keyboarding was a very integral part of that show and it was great fun to hear.

Thirdly, I wish he would put "Best Thing" back in his shows. :? I have only heard him do it twice and it is just a terrific number to have as part of his concert.

Sounds like he played it very smart for the Calgary crowd.

Thanks again, Jodes, for posting the review and would love to see the pictures when you have them ready.

I love that one too, Bugsy! I was just crankin that CD on my car player. I've always loved Best Thing and Unfinished Song from that era!

Best Thing is one of my all-time fave Styx songs, jimmy! When he played it at the Chicago HOB show I thought I was going to get blown out into the street. It was that amazing and that LOUD! :)

I agree about Unfinished Song as well. I really enjoy that one. Glad I got to be a part of that one-time live performance of it.

Good for you that you got to hear both! I figured Best Thing would only be played in Chicago since it was big there, I read, when it was released in 1972 but got almost no airplay anywhere else.
