NIGHTSTYX or RANGER STYX

Postby yogi » Fri Sep 01, 2006 11:38 pm

On my way to work this morning I was listening to Jack & Tommy singing Shine On. Sounded AWESOME!!! Then youve got Jack and Tommy with Damn Yankees, the Hallunication CD and more. Those two sound great together.

Tommy also sounded SUPER singing 'Yes I Can' with Glen Burtnik from the Cyclorama CD.

Tommy and Dennis have always sounded GREAT together.

Finally, Glen and Dennis work wonders together.

So how about the next SUPERGROUP of: Tommy Shaw, Dennis DeYoung, Jack Blades, Glen Burtnik & Todd Sucherman.

Ive got a couple of working names up above. I kind of like Ranger Styx. Its my play of words involving Yogi Bears keeper. NightStyx??? Then again we could go with Dennis,Todd & The Midgets!!!!!!

Replace Todd with Woodring from Dennis band and then I'd think you have it.

Woodring is really, really good.

The Shaw/Blades CD was great, still is almost 15 years later. I dunno about a "supergroup" anymore but it's fun to think about anyway I suppose.

That rub a lamp comment made me laugh thinking abotu the 7 wishes tour back in 1985. Man what a hokey gimmick that was.
