ok. I know that this is an old thread, but I have to ask is there any new information on this. Was this Jy doing this or was it the UPPER managment of Styx doing it? I have to agree witht eh thread though, Styxworld does not get updated that much. You have to look all over the net to find news and it is news that wasn't posted on Styxworld.

no one really knows who initiated the action other than JY was cc'd about it. THe lawyers may be simply following long standing instructions about protecting the Styx name or someone brought that particular site to someone's attention.

As far as the updating of Styxworld, for the most part it has been Tommy's pet project with the others only participating from time to time. We post more up to date information here than they ever do on Styxworld. Or at least we are wuixker at posting it than they do.

Tommy's been busy spending much of his time remixing the DVD and hasn't had much time for the site. At least that is what I am hearing. IT will probably pick up again shortly, but we have reported more on the dvd than styxworld has.

You would think that was true. If he has got time to perform in concert, he has got time to administer his website and let fans know what is going on. So I guess he soen't have that much time on his hands. Kevin of REO speedwagon is working on a new cd, but still talks to his fans by email and is working on a new website.

I'm going to guess that the Time it takes to master the dvd is tremendous, especially of he is the main person mastering it.

Tommy's gone in runs before when he hasn't posted. I'm sure he'll post again soon before their break.
