Show Support For Steve Augeri

Postby EclipticJourney » Tue Oct 17, 2006 2:08 am

Support Steve Augeri.

Looking for people to donate their Steve Augeri pics for display on JRNY'swebsite. In Steve's honor, I'd like to dedicate an entire page to him and his fans.

Personal photos (you and Steve), as well as concert photos are welcome. I'll also post any personal messages you might have for him. Hopefully either he or Lydia will see the pics and messages and know that we are all still rooting for him and his recovery.

There is also a Guest Book will on the page where you can enter your thoughts about and messages to Steve.

Whatever your position on who should be Journey's Lead Vocalist of the future, I believe most of us still support Steve and appreciate what he did to help keep the Journey alive for the past 8 years. Everyone is welcome to post to the GuestBook (no speculation on Steve's position with Journey in the future) and submit pics, if they so wish.

Thanks for your support and you can email all pic donations with your authorization to post them, to EclipticJourney@yahoo.com

http://jrnyradio.tripod.com/

I also invite you all to the new JRNY Forums.

All you individuals that have nothing better to do than to criticize a post that is clearly a non-confrontational one, I say go right ahead. I expected it.

Have fun, my misguided friends. :)

Thanks for posting this EclipticJourney. I'm more than happy to send my support to Steve Augeri. Regardless of what the situation is with him and Journey, I'm thankful for the 8 years he brought to Journey.

And, yes, I'm a fan of JDoubleS (in and out of Journey).

Thank you. I am also a huge fan of JSS. He's a great vocalist and fronting Journey this Tour has finally exposed his talent to US music fans. The reviews of the shows he's fronted have been overwhelmingly positive also. JSS definately brings it, both vocally and with a high octane stage presence.

I'm hoping he sees the page and realizes that he is appreciated. I believe that even those that want JSS to continue can and do respect what Steve brings to the table.

I guess only time will tell, but either way I will continue to support Journey as a band.

Not leavin, Vladan. Simply acknowledging what I expected to happen and saying go ahead. I'll respond to those that respond intelligently and everything else...well it's par for the course. :)

I asked you a perfectly intelligent question. What's wrong with him? He can't possibly still have that throat infection three months on. Or are we simply being asked to show sympathy for a guy who's lost his job?

No worries, well thanks for the thread. People appreciate it, apparantly the band members post sometimes here, but I have never seen anyone other than JSS - you never know though!.

Some great stuff has come from the Steve Augeri/Journey collaboration, even if it ran mostly under the radar.

Looking forward to Journey's future now, no matter where it leads and who is out front.

JSS is a stand up guy. He's known for posting in many different Forums, including this one. Just sorry I missed seeing the band this go 'round.

Sorry. Didn't know if you were being serious. It's kind of hard to believe there might be someone from this board to not know what happened to Steve.

Unfortunately it takes lots of down time to heal from the type of vocal cord problems Steve has. I can't speak for him or his Doctor, but it could take quite some time for him to heal.

I'm also sure Steve doesn't want anyone to have any false sympathy for him. He's probably just doing his best to rest his cords and get on with business. No matter where that business might or might not be conducted.

No problem with the Augeri era music here. I've met the man a few times and he is a great guy.

However, I am firmly ready to get on with the JSS era.
