). They started running toward us and we ducked into the back door of the hotel in the knick of time. We went to our rooms, dropped off some items and went out the front door to get a cab. Our drive was visibly shaken and told us that he had just witnessed a mugging right outside the back door of our hotel and had to call the police. He told us that a large group of young men just mugged a man. We described the group and sure enough, it was the same group that was following us. We drove by the scene and saw a man sitting on the curb and he looked like he had taken quite the beating!
Not five minutes later, as our driver was switching lanes, we got in a wreck with a man driving a very large truck and he smelled like he had already found Maggie Mae's a few times over! No one was hurt and the four of us were laughing so hard we nearly had some incontinence issues. We were near our destination so we got out and walked the rest of the way, leaving our driver with the intoxicated other driver and two other bystanders yelling at him and dropping f-bombs left and right!! We made it to our destination and had a wonderful time, we met some wonderful people! A very nice young man named Michael bought a round of "red headed sluts" for everyone. And no, I didn't break my no alcohol ever streak, I just watched. We had a great time and had a nice little tour of the bar.
Next we went to the "Power Plant" and spent a little time there until we got kicked out because one of our friends forgot her ID. So, we ended up at the hotel bar for a night cap, and will hit the Power Plant tomorrow night with ID in hand!
