I really want to get something started up to get Styx to come to Canada more or possibly even another canada tour.
They promised they would have something special for us when they cancelled because of that SARS, yet nothing has happened. So, common lets start something up!

Brandon.. It's NOT going to happen.. Styx's Management has basically written Styx off for Canada.

No promoter in Toronto or Montreal is going to touch Styx, and Styx's management knows that.

Plus when Styx has played outside of Quebec city, they aren't even drawing 5000 people (Winnipeg and Ottawa drew only about 4000 max last year) unless they are playing Rama. Why do you think that they haven't been back out west since 2001? No promoter is willing to take the change of losing his shirt on this lineup of Styx. Even if they draw say 3000 fans, they still might go under unless it's a double bill and the booze returns are good.

A few years ago when Gowan joined there was some interest, but now with Dennis Deyoung coming through parts, nobody's interested in bringing this current lineup of Styx north of the 49th..

I know your intentions are good, but the damage has been done and it's the Canadian fans that have to suffer for Styx's mistake.
