Simply pathetic
I have been a Yes fan for 30 years
This is the worst version I have ever heard of this great song
Shaw go to bed man.

I'm also a Yes fan and I think it's a VERY good performance. Froy, exactly what do you not like about the performance other than the fact that TS is singing? The guitars were on, the harmonies were great, and the lead vocal performance was awesome.
Once again, Froy shows his bias.

It's called a cover or a tribute. Happens all the time.
Froy, your bias light is flashing.

Dennis did his covers album in 1994, does this mean he ran out of ideas 12 years ago?
Yes thats what it means
Also he did not do 2 covers in a row
Big difference
Covers cds mean your out of ideas
Dennis did not tour for his cover cd
Shaw can't stop .WHen BBT came out, your arguement was that 10 on Broadway was different because it was a solo album.
True and it was something Dennis wanted to do not for touring money. Now Shaw does the same thing as a solo artist and he's run out of ideas?
Yes and he wants his concert money
Probably now about 10 grand per show,.From the short clips I've heard of the Shaw Blades album, it sounds pretty good.
Would you rather have that or Damm Yankees?
Case closed.10 on Broadway was a good album for Dennis, actually I wish if he wasn't going to record new music that he did more of the "10 on" theme. Rod Stewart is having a very successful back end of his career with the covers theme. When it gets down to it, I want to hear Dennis sing something. The same as I want to hear something new from Tommy - covers or not.
sadie65 wrote:I believe Dennis did do some promotion for the cd and did do a few concerts so I think you could be wrong there Froy.

But they all are musicians and get most of there money from touring, so I can't see what your problem is with them doing whatever they care to in order to maintain their livelihood.
