You know this is really interesting because I always thought there was bad blood on the 97 tour - it must not have been between DDY and Tommy...otherwise, why does DDY join Tommy to help promote Tommy's solo album? So, the question is...was the bad blood AFTER the 97 tour or was there bad blood on the tour but was it between DDY and someone else?

WOW!! What a freakin' great clip this is! Flaws and all, this is the kind of thing I like from Tommy, where he seems the realest and most natural to me. This makes me really want to see the Shaw Blades tour, that's for sure.

Thanks for putting that up.

There were some tensions, but it hadn't really gotten crazy yet. There seems to be genuine chemistry in this thing, at least to me.

Agreed. I think the fact that BNW had yet to begin production in earnest is probably a factor.

Didn't they wait for 7DZ to be released before BNW was started.? I thought that I read somewhere that when they reunited, Tommy had pretty much finished 7DZ and that the guys agreed that they would wait until it was released before they started the next Styx project

What you see is how I got them on DVD. Obviously the VHS tape had been packed away for a while. But I agree the interaction between Tommy and Dennis seems genuine. Can't imagine Tommy would have invited Dennis if they were at odds with each other.
