Hi all,

I've been lurking around these boards for a while and haven't posted yet (well apart from to mention a good station on Live 365). Have been a Styx fan for about 25 years now so I'm not going to do all the newbie DDY vs Shaw/Young stuff or bang on about why Cyclorama was good/crap.

However, I recently picked up a remastered double CD of Equinox and Crystal Ball and it's hardly left my CD player these last few days. Bloody hell, just how good is Born For Adventure? I'd put it up there in my top 5 Styx songs - that bass line is relentless!

You picked the best Styx album ever, Equinox, in my view. Born For Adventure is one of the many reasons it is a great album.

Well, much as I am a Styx fan I still haven't got round to getting the first two albums yet

So can't really say which I think is the best. Of the ones I have, I'd probably go for Po8 simply for the triple whammy of Blue Collar Man, Renegade & Queen of Spades but the more I listen (again and again) to Equinox the more I'm starting to be swayed

I actually like Crystal Ball better than Equinox. I think Crystal Ball is the most underrated Styx album.
