'The Grand Delusion' on Totalrock.com

Postby Rockwriter » Wed May 16, 2007 5:07 am

Hello:

Just wanted to let everyone know that I taped an interview this morning with Malcolm Dome of www.totalrock.com to promote 'The Grand Delusion'. It was about fifteen minutes long and it is supposed to air this coming Saturday on www.totalrock.com at 8PM UK time, which I think is 2PM Eastern time in the US. Hopefully it went as well as I thought it did.

You'll notice that my voice is kinda scratchy in this . . . I'm actually recovering from being carjacked on Sunday. I was driving through a cul de sac and three guys came up, one jumped on the hood of my car, and the others pulled the doors open, which unfortunately were unlocked. They pulled me out and beat me up a little bit, then jumped in and sped away. The whole thing took about 5 seconds. It was just totally shocking, like a really bad movie. No word yet on my car, and I'm sore all over, especially in my face and throat, but I'm just thankful that I'm basically fine and not seriously hurt. It just goes to show you, you should always lock your doors, even in a safe neghborhood.

Anyway, tune in to www.totalrock.com on Saturday to hear this (hopefully) interesting interview!

Thanks, I hope all is well.

Holy Sh**! I'm glad you're okay. You were right not to resist, three against one is only for experts.

The hell with the car, the make new ones in Detroit every day. We can't make a new you. Take it easy and you'll be as good as new soon!

I'm really sorry to hear about that sterling. A similar situation happend to me about 4yrs ago. I was leaving work heading to my car and I was carjacked at gun point/robbed good thing I didn't have that much on me. Thankfully the police found the person who did it about a month later. It took another few weeks to find my car which was filled with parking tickets. These are dangerous times we live in. But I am glad to here your okay.

Thanks very much, and thanks to everyone else as well who has expressed your well wishes. I'm fine. Still no word on the car, but there are some leads and the detectives think in time it will be recovered. In the meantime, there are other cars in the world and I am well, so I'm not going to complain about it.

Funny, I was watching VH1 Classic yesterday and who did I see but Malcolm Dome, the very guy who interviewed me on Tuesday. He was being interviewed himself as part of the Iron Maiden Behind The Music, I guess it was, or some special on Iron Maiden. Funny coincidence.

I hope everyone is well.
