History could easily repeat again this year :)

Great game but man my voice and stomach are paying now.

Good game Sabres but I hope the luck of the puck
is with the Senators Friday night.

Yeah if one of their guys gets hurt and is bleeding on the ice. Do not cheer the fact. We don't do that here! :D

A. Don't get ahead of yourselves with the Senators...

B. Is it still "Hockeytown" when the fans are too cool to show up
at the arena... Time to revoke that nickname privlege, no ? :D

Forgot about that afternoon sheet, thanks for straightening me out Sir.
Buffalo played fantastic last night and Miller was great between the pipes.
Good Luck to you.
Canada wants that cup bad though so look out.

I agree Deb. Detroit is miles behind Vancouver, Calgary, Toronto, Montreal and Ottawa. Not even close in terms of hockey passion.

Enjoy your "exciting" Pistons and error prone Tiggers.

You're wrong Deano. The only thing about Detroit that is red are the Red Wings. Everything else is solid blue. Which is why jobs (unemployment is near 7%) and companies including Comerica Bank(park) which is moving to Texas. And our great Gov. Granholm has come up with the brilliant plan to raise taxes even further. It's $85 just to get in the door at the Joe and those are for the nosebleeds. Plus we've already seen them raise the cup 3 times in the last 10 years. People are just more apt to celebrate at bars or at home. 3 out of Detroits 4 major franchises are right in the thick of the championship chase.

Wrong? RWF, why do you spin this into politics, where you are even more sure to lose.

Vancouver has had 657 consecutive sellouts and is one of the most expensive tickets in the league. Just admit that Detroit is good but not the best hockey city.

You going to the Blue v red card was assinine. I would be embarrassed to admit I was a republican in any way shape or form.

Dude they're facts. Detroit is Hockeytown! The Joe seats over 1,000 more than GM place. Even more when you factor in the standing room only, they cram 20,000 in there. Way to gloss over the 3 cups in 10 years though

Last home game at Joe Louis, they had 19,620. GM Place holds 18,630. Difference of 990 people. Trust me, Vancouver could get 25,000 a game if they could. Vancouver is much more hockey crazed than Detroit. Mind you, I am not putting Detroit down, as i think it is a great hockey city, but it isn't the best anymore.

The 3 Cups they won are all deserved and earned. Cannot take that away.

PS, They have broken ground on the arena in Detroit right? The Joe is going to be razed. GM Place, the "Garage" is the nicest arena in the NHL.

Blondie in case you haven't heard yet, Anaheim whomped
on Detroit last night, 5-3.

Congrats Ducks fans.

I'm crossing my everything in hopes of a Red Wings win on Sunday.

Tree I thought of you last night as Anaheim scored goal number 4.
How your fury little self must have been in hoot and holler mode over that one.

Really? You shouldn't of spoke; as if you have been to a fuckin arena to watch an NHL game? I have Centre Ice, watch all the games, get the Hockey News, look at box scores every morning.

Detroit is way behind those 3 cities in terms of excitement. You know nothing of which you speak.

Sorry.

Morning Dean'o
As a matter of ice time I have, many times, had two Uncles that were stick boys
for the Red Wings for over 20 years.
I have beer stains on my away Montreal Jersey from
a rabid Detroit fan, fuckin lucky I was that the guy let me walk out
of there with my shirt on and only gave me the stain as a souvenir.
Owned?, never when it comes to Hockey memories Sir.
Care for a cup of kiss my backside with your attitude?

WOOT!
