Things are going well. I'm bored out of my mind with the bed rest tho. We see the fetal cardiologist on Friday.

How exciting- one more week (ish). I'm just coming up on week 24.... I'm much bigger tho and getting tired of this feeling. Getting up is a chore, laying down is a chore, turning from side to side, breathing, blah blah blah. Dean is a trooper tho, he's being patient  . I look forward to seeing pics of Abby. I'll bet her big sister is excited.

There shouldn't even be hockey teams in California. It certainly hasn't helped get the sport back to where it was in the 80's...let alone TV. Ten years ago, if you'd asked the average Californian / Texan / Arizonan what the five-hole was, 99% of them would have said it was the fifth hole at Augusta. These people have no idea how to skate, let alone the intricacies of this great sport. The Mighty Dicks and Anaheim DO NOT DESERVE a Stanley Cup Title. Some mighty questionable calls helped get them there. The Sens will march all over those posers. Ottawa in six.

I'd just be happy to see it on tv. After having seen a few games in Ottawa, I'm hooked. I don't need a professional team in SC, I just need a damn tv channel to show it...

First off good luck to you Lula and Deano with the twins. As kids go they will probably turn out to be Kings and Sharks fans just to get your goat!!!!

I'm going with the Sens for The Cup! Just to shut up all the whining hosehead friends of mine who complain all the NHL money is in The States and that's why they don't get The Cup up in Canuckland........

Perchance to explain why? Are you getting a woodrow for Emilio Estevez all of a sudden?

Wayne gretzky brought the NHL to Florida(Miami), Tampa Bay, Nashville, Dallas, San jose Phoenix and Anaheim. To say those teams don't deserve a Cup or to win because of geography is stupid.

I don't like Anaheim, but to say they got to where they are because of call or no calls is ridiculous. They manhandled Minnesota, beat Vancouver straight up, and did the same with Detroit.

The scoreboard doesn't lie.

My pick, Anaheim in 6, maybe 7.

That is true to an extent. In THIS town anyway...can't speak for the ENTIRE south.

OK, well, if expansion and exposure worked so well, and since the sport has been in the south for 15 years now, it seems to me there should be a lot of NHL players FROM the south, since they would have had time to start skating at three, playing at four, et cetera. Someone, anyone, give me the names of FIVE impact players in the NHL who were born and raised south of the Mason-Dixon line. You can't because there aren't any. That was my point. I love California and Californians, anyway, and most of them are born athletes, so I'll acquiesce on that point. But I won't back down from my "New South" assertion until someone proves me wrong.

Ice Heaps I say!, they both had plenty of rest time to
be starting up Sat night.
