From what I understand from another mailing list (and this was a reply to the list from Hank), the website will place a date on their calendar once the tickets for a show go on sale. It's up to the promoter to promote the show itself.

Am I the only one that finds this statement a bit odd and maybe borderline arrogant, I mean Dennis should be doing anything he can to promote himself at this point.

Not arrogant, just plain dumb. Once they've confirmed the date, Dennis should have it on his website. Most groups annouonce future concert scedules before the tickets are on sale. Otherwise how would anhyone know they are on sale?

Yeah, tickets for the .................... show went on sale last week, thought we'd tell you now.....
Ranks right up there with the first single from ...................... in 5 years was released last month, if you find out about it, good for you.
