Thanks, Sherrie! Good to be home. Got to get out and make some sales calls this morning!

Hey man! Can't get into a whole lot of specifics, but I was able to perform with the band, and by all accounts I had a great time. I can't get into anything else really specific here, but we had a great week, and now I'm (NOT) looking forward to getting back to work once again!
Just wanted to pop in here and count myself among the living. If you notice I am not around as much as usual, trust me, it is NOT from any directive of the band or anything, only that I want to isolate myself from getting worked up or making myself a target by posting a lot, etc....Just want to pop in from time to time and say hi...Thanks for all your support, guys and gals.....Now back to work!

We all know the old saying, "Be Good To Yourself". I believe in one that I feel is just as important: "Be true to yourself".
Let me just be clear that both them and management made it very clear that they don't want a "perry clone," I promise.

It's funny - Ross made such a noticeable and impressive contribution to Escape - but he's barely made an impression since then.

Can't really give any kind of "inside scoop" or anything, only that Journey will do what Journey needs to do in their own time. We had a great time though, and everyone was outstanding to us.

Don't be stoopid! You know exactly what I meant!

People want to talk about the crappy production of those albums. It's not so much the production as it is the ARRANGEMENTS of the songs.
Where's the rhythm & blues type stuff that they used to play behind SP? THAT is what they built their legacy sound upon.

I KNOW what you meant...but lighten UP!
Those 2 1/2 albums are what they are - I guess you will have to take them or leave them.
Why don't you focus on what you like?

I know what you mean. Ross bass is alive on that album.

Hi Jeremey. Congratulations on the tryout. I know you can't elaborate on details or anything, but it bothers me that management and the band say they don't want a "Perry clone", but are in fact trying out people who sound just like Steve Perry. That just doesn't make any sense. If they didn't want a clone, why is Soto out of the band? Am I missing something? I guess by "clone" they mean that the person can sound like Perry, but that's where the similarities end. I'm not trying to come across as a smart ass, but nothing this band says makes any sense.
