Yeah, I've been on the record in the past as saying that family, friends, and support of the ones you love is more important than all the fame and fortune in the world. In the best of situations, sometimes all the pieces come together.

Some fame isn't bad, I think JSS can walk around without too much hassle.

I think a nice size lottery pot could make life a wee bit easier.

Excellant post, I couldnt have said it better myself. Jeremey deserves any success he has weither it be with Journey, Frontiers.and his personall life. I think its cool that he still comes on here.I hope that doesnt change. He is a regular guy like SP,SA,JSS was, and the same as us,only he can sing his ass off .If people want to rag on him for coming from a tribute band, that is just fucking stupid. If he does get hired the topics here will be a whole diferent a year from now

Dude, you are starting down the same path JSS walked. We all know how that turned out. If you are offended by the impersonator title, you are going to have a very rough ride. You are never going to shake that one.

He may be the greatest thing since Perry to capture the legacy sound, but coming on the boards and making comments about fickle fans, and being "made" are not going to win anyone on the fence over. Trying to set alot of us straight over on BT at the beginning was a big strike by JSS. Maybe Jeremey should make note and sit back and wait for his fate to be decided. I think that many might consider that more respectable.

The only reason I stayed off the boards was because my words could be misinterpreted which is exactly what has happened again when I stepped in to try to clarify a few things. Don't forget, I also have a big say in how my "fate" is decided, but with that being said, I'll disappear again...So long, Melodicrock friends!!

Sorry you see it that way. I didn't mean to be disrespectful, but the point I was trying to make was not to slag Stevie A's job, but to point out that he was in fact retired from the music business when he was hired by Journey. Sorry to have confused my point. In no way am I slagging him. Maybe using the phrase "retired singer" is a better way to convey my misunderstanding as why a "tribute" singer who knows the song is a no-no versus someone who has a different background.

I'll say the same thing to you I said to JSS last year...........let your abilities speak for you. Posting on here is just going to push those who aren't behind having you as lead singer further away.

Hey fat ass, no one cares what you think. The only advice you should be giving is how to wipe out a buffet. Heat up a knife and carve out that stupid tattoo you have on your ankle too. Lastly, please find out when the pig pen will be reopening so I can lay low in the mean time. Wix might be the only BTer worth a fuck. At least he's funny at times.

This is the same bunch of cocksuckers that 6 months from now will be pissing and moaning that " Jeremey got famous and became too good to talk to us" I wouldn't talk to your fat bloated fucking sorry asses either. Let the dude have his moment and reserve your judgments until you see and hear what's coming. I have no idea what to expect either but at least I'm willing to wait and see. Face it people PERRY AINT COMING BACK! The rest of the band, spineless pieces of shit that they are, are at least willing to continue to play for the fans that still want them around. Jeremey dude, ignore these assholes. Do what you deem the best move for your family. I've told you before, watch your back. If you are the man GOOD LUCK!

It's certainly not very wise to come in here attacking one of us. That whole 'mob mentality' thing ya know...

Don't tell Jeremey what to do. He is ALWAYS welcome to interact with us, whether he is a part of Journey, Frontiers, or the local YMCA. Trust me when I say I'm sure there are many more of us that are interested in what he has to say than the bullshit you are spewing.

Excellent post. Jeremey, the next singer for Journey, is a good friend of this board and should be shown respect as he is a class act. You've not been here enough Marie to make such judgments.

Bingo.

The fact that Jeremy sounds close to SP in his prime is NOT the point.

The point is...Journey is NOT in their prime anymore. Their PRIME is what they should be worried about PRESERVING!!!

Everything else they are doing just "waters down" their glorious past.

IMO...of course.
