Of course you do because he's with Dennis now. You will soon hate Tommy too when he joins Dennis.
Zan wrote:Oh Jesus God Almighty. I'm part of his web team, ya 'tard. I was joking. Keep "ignoring me," please. It makes you seem more intelligent.

But what about Mr. Glen Burtnik? I don't think i have seen one person here badmouth Glen and i want to know what you all think about this guy? I personally like him, he is full of talent and his solo stuff is wonderful. Although his time with Styx (in 1990 and 1999-2003) was short lived, he put together some wonderful work and some favorites of mine.
In my opinion, one of the classiest Styx members of all time.

Welcome To Hollywood is the GREATEST CD no one has ever heard. Retrospectable & Pallokaville were both awesome.
His songs on Edge & Cyclorama were by far the best of the lot.
He does NOT give himself near the credit that he deserves.

Not Dead Yet was the closer.
They also played Love Is The Ritual, Edge, Show Me The Way, World Tonight, All In A Days Work & Homewrecker. Damn near the entire album. plus the staples.
I left that concert thinking' Tommy, who's Tommy????
GREAT GREAT show!!!!

Of the CDs you've heard. There is *tons* of great music out there that you'll never hear otherwise... not just Glen's stuff... find a genre you like and explore... there are tons of fantastic albums that have done nothing.yogi wrote: His songs on Edge & Cyclorama were by far the best of the lot.
I disagree. Ever heard of a song called "Show Me The Way"?

Umm Darwin, they are talking about GLEN PENNED tunes.. and the last time I checked, Show Me The Way was written by Dennis...

"All In A Day's Work" is the best song on Edge, followed by "Back to Chicago". "All In A Day's Work" is quite honestly one of the best Styx songs put on any record, and is in the "Boat on the River" mold of being non-traditional.
DarwinNebraska wrote:I disagree... you don't like ballads... which is quite apparent by your comments in Sterling's book.
I like a great song, ballad or not, and SMTW is a *great* song and the best on Edge.
