I don't know what this is from, but it's definitely obscure Perry. It's Tony Brock's song, Congratulations Baby:

What else that is obscure & not a boot? I think that about taps my collection out.

I've got some other demos like from Alien Project (poor sound quality), FTLOSM, some Journey demos, & him doing People Get Ready from the King Biscuit show. Do u want any of those?

Wow, I sure didn't know about all these obscure songs he was on. Some I heard thanks to postings here...I hope they are still up tomorrow 'cuz I have to go to the hubby's computer to listen & it's too late tonight. Funny, I was just listening the other day to an old radio interview from 1999 & SP was asked by a caller about the SH songs & SP didn't even remember until it was mentioned. :)

I have the Schon and Hammer song, but won't have access to it until tomorrow afternoon (Pacific time). It is actually a Journey song with the Schon and Hammer name slapped on it. I seriously doubt Hammer even played on it. I had heard it was recorded for Frontiers, didn't make it, and then Schon used it there. It's all the guys in Journey at the time. But Hammer is credited on keys. Again, I'd bet a paycheck it's Cain.

It's cool to hear Perry's voice with Hagar's.

Have never seen anybody mention it here. Thought I would.

I'm glad someone started another thread like this. I even found two I didn't have. If I get time later I'll see if there's anything I have that hasn't been posted. :D I know I don't have any Schon and Hammer.

Yup.....I agree.... ^

OK:

You-all have inspired me to create another one :D

It's another "intro / song", just like the other one.

Again, it's from FTLOSM....Steve sang a VERY SLOW rendition of "Ain't Nothin' Like the Real Thing" into "Foolish Heart".

He slowed the speed down so much on "Real Thing" that I had NO IDEA it was that song! But when I realized he used that as an intro to FH, I lost my mind....my favorite Steve Solo song.....LIVE!!!!

Another "MelRock / GarageBand" Exclusive ~ Enjoy! 8)

What a pity he'd lost his voice by that time, huh? :-)

Nora, is the Lost Angels one the original or the speed corrected one that JeremyP made for us?

Jeremy's theory was that the version of Lost Angels everyone posted here was off in its speed due to aging of tapes. He corrected it & posted what it might have sounded like back then. I didn't download urs so I'm not sure which version it is. I have both the one that always floated here & Jeremy's speed corrected one tho.

Hmmmmm.....verry interrrresting... 8)

Just to clarify about my first mix: LIBM / F

Those 2 songs were not played together in Concert....they just happened to be next to each other on my playlist....I thought it would be cool to have a "mix" of them together.

However, RT / FH WERE played together in the show I saw....thought I'd bring the "FTLOSM Concert Experience" here..... :D

Here are two tracks that are listed on the bootleg CD I've got as being Cain demos sung by Perry. That's all I know about them. I don't even know their titles. The sound isn't great.
