I had the person who played closest to SP in his entire career, tell me to my face, that he cannot do it anylonger.

Schon? Hell, he'd piss on your back and tell you it was raining.

Did I ever say it was Schon? And if it were Schon, no one player played next to Perry for longer than Neal did.

So you're saying that it was someone that played close to Perry for years but you're not saying that it's Schon but it someone that played close to Perry for years?

Who said it Dean and why did you believe him/her.?

I would be a fool to dip down a few hundred notches and debate/talk to you HOTS. You are but a speedbump of shit on my highway. Get out of the way or get run over, dickhead.

So the midget with the widget goes around telling fans that Perry can't sing anymore?
What a guy.

Without question. Unreal.

Also Ann Wilson. Still unbeliavable.

Like Stryper or not, or make fun of them. If you know more about them beyond the stupid ballads...the dude can still nail it on anything.

Michael Sweet uses his falsetto FAR too often to be considered a "great" vocalist.

So tell us when Schon told you that Perry couldn't sing anymore. Don't sidetrack the issue with your little gems of rhetoric.

No way, what are you basing this on? Rescently? Ballads? When is the last time you heard him? Sorry, but no way. He doesn't even have a falsetto. Maybe in the past on the stupid ballads like Honestly, which is what he gets judged on.
He gets judged from the past for certain ways he sang on certain songs, how he dressed-the whole image bit, and the whole Christian thing.
Have you seen him or Stryper live in the past few years? Are you a die hard fan? If so , you would not be saying this. Did you see him on the 2003 tour? I saw them eight times and it was fuckin' unbelieavable. He is going to nail the Boston songs at the Brad Delp tribute.
Dennis DeYoung and Michael Sweet have two of the greatest voices out there today. If anything, they have gotten better. I have seen them both numerous times LIVE over the past few years, and that's the true test.
If you are saying what you are saying about Michael as a true fan who has seen him rescently live then state your point for your statement.

U know he cant HOTS. If he tells the truth, it will be that Schon said Perry couldn't cut it 11 years ago. He knows that holds NO weight today. So he has to sidetrack things by insulting u.

You're a fucking twat Susie. Why don't you post YOUR "insiders" and "sources?" Everyone here knows who I know in the band and the music industry.

Fuck you Susie, since when have I NOT told the fucking truth? You make up shit as you go.

I can't believe you just escalated the war with me.

Why don't u post ur "insiders" & "sources" instead of asking me for mine? Sure we know u know Neal. He's ur source. When was the last time he talked to Perry let alone heard him sing? Ask him that why don't u.

Are we at war Deano? Ha ha. A message board war. How funny. Idiot.

I'll tell you what. I'll call Neal right now and ask him the questions, but you tell everyone here what you told me earlier via PM..that you heard SP sing during a writing session. YOU'RE the Idiot.

She is COIMPLETELY full of shit. Her Loonism devotion is clouding her judgement. I DO know Neal and the band as well as others in the industry and people know that..She claims to have seen Perry sing during a writing session within this last year...all for the sake of getting HOTS to give her an atta boy.

BULLSHIT. I saw him at the House of Blues on the Start From The Dark tour a few years ago and he was as good as ever. He impressed the shit out of me. 7the Heaven (playing in SB) was one of the opening acts and blew me away also. They have since changed vocalists and I'm wondering what the new dude sounds like. The old singer was fantasic.

No shit. We're not talking about a guy with fantastic songwriting chops here.

I've heard his self titled record and "Truth". A friend of mine is a nut for Christian music.

Some good melodies, OK vocals...some highlights...too preachy for my tastes.

He sounds good, but it's evident that he's restricted vocally. There's no shame in that though, at least he's doing it. God bless him for that.
