And you will buy it 13 years later?

If all Perry fans were like you, he'd be hanging out with Richrath.

Gotta admit, that was good. Hey, if all Schon fans were like you he'd think he was 6'8 since your always on your knees when it comes to ANYTHING Neal Schon.

OMG & OUCH!

Hey Nora - my post was not aimed directly at you. I think you are a great contributor to this forum bringing your own special perspective as a singer to what you post.

What I am saying is that it is a waste of time to be angry at someone for not officially announcing a retirement. I would assume he hasn't done that because he himself doesn't know what he may want to do tomorrow, or next week or next year. I am hoping he makes new music and will be very happy should that happen. But if it doesn't, it certainly won't make me angry.

Yeah; I totally agree.....sometimes, what I really want to say get lost in my emotional...um...typing.

All I'm trying to say is this:

I totally concur with others that say they'll take SP at 25% over somebody else's 1000%....it's true.....and SO FRUSTRATING that amazing talent like his is not being used anymore!

He's missed so much....I really hope he knows that.

Maybe it's because I'm getting older; turning 40.... ACK... and getting tired of waiting for the "Superstar" Steve....

But being "hung out to dry" ~ with no word about ANYthing ~ is REALLY starting to piss me off! (and probably others, too...)

Good Lord...

If you're DONE....just give us some fucking courtesy...

Ahem.. getting back on topic here. Journey is finished. 0V3R! They may get a couple more tours in with their nostalgia act before they realize it. I won't be at any future shows, though. I've seen them play "Don't Stop Believing" and "Open Arms" plenty of times already.

The dude is about what? 57 years old? He hasn't done anything vocally in the last ten years now. Certainly nothing BIG! If you beleive he doesn't know what he's gonna do tomorrow, next week or next year - you are wrong. He know's exactly what he's doing. He's keeping as many of you as possible interested enough to keep buying vids, reissues and whatever else he can come up with. One thing about Perry.. he ain't stupid. That's for damned sure!

[I guess I should have prefaced my post here by saying that this is not aimed at you, Lora, but rather at the general public that views this forum. My apologies].

COMPLETE HORSESHIT.

You can always un-retire. Michael Jordon did it. So do other stars. They are bigger than SP in their collective talents.

Stephen is keeping hopeless women on edge...with no intent on returning.

I don't recall Perry EVER publicly saying he was retired, Last I heard he was WRITING songs with Nuno Bettencourt, a sang on the GUFF Cd, so I don't know about being retired. Anyways I hope he doesn't retire, I would miss Perry and his talents GREATLY!!!

And Deano, it is the fans CHOICE to support HIM, Perry isn't making any fan do anything they don't want to do.

In my Stars yesterday, it said something from the past will enter your life next year, now that can mean two things:

1. An old flame will arrive stark bollock naked on the doorstep begging me to carry on where we left off. I'd like to think there'd be three of them, possibly six
2. Steve Perry will return in the fall with new material

Now I'd bet No2 is more likely but No1 would be fuckin' cool wouldn't it :?: I'd pass on a Perry comeback for that one for sure 8)

No I'd still settle for the old flames, the last one was rampant and I'm sure she only cost $20. Good thing is, this time they wouldn't charge or so my Stars say 8) I just thought of another two, so it's eight now

I must be a "dumb bitch" too then because I think the possibility of him doing something new is pretty high. The man seems to have straightened out a lot of things in his life and seems happy again. He's working with Nuno and that's a good sign. He WANTED to sing on AI til Cain and Schon fucked that up. The dude is far from retired. He has simply been smart enough to manage his money in a way that allows him to work when he wants to. And remember, up until only recently, the landscape of the music industry wasn't 80's friendly. That era, and its artists, are now as popular as any time in the last 2 decades, so some sort of comeback would make much more sense now. I sense a Fall update. I've been hot and cold with these in the past, but I like my chances with this one.
