Perry Solo Songs on Journey Tour or Journey Songs on Perry

Postby tj » Fri Sep 07, 2007 1:37 am

The only live show I was ever able to attend was ROR in December of 1986, Oklahoma City. I don't recall if they played any SP solo songs from Street Talk. Never saw SP live.

Did Journey play any SP solo songs during ROR tour? And did SP play any Journey songs on his FTLOSM tour?

Yes and yes.

Journey played Oh Sherrie and Strung Out on the Raised On Radio Tour.

The Strange Medicine tour featured more Journey than solo stuff, I think! Only The Young, I'll Be Alright Without You, Wheel In The Sky, Dixie Highway, Lovin', Touchin, Squeezin', Don't Stop Believin', Faithfully, Girl Can't Help It, Separate Ways ... someone will no doubt know the ones I've forgotten.

He sang Foolish Heart at Angels camp, 1986. Goddamned that was a killer show. I really should get that thing transferred over to DVD.

You should! How many beers would that equate to for trade off in CA. 8)

I caught Journey 3 or 4 times that year. The Angel's Camp show was fun.

If I remember right, opening bands were:

The Outfield
Honeymoon Suite

Probably someone else too.

Journey rocked that night!

Deano- Remember your promise about Mt Aire if Journey doesn't put it out by 3-31-08. I still want to send the boys something. Waiting on you to tell me where?

I was there too. Absolutely magical night. Andy Taylor (Duran Duran) was an opener. I believe Glass Tiger was on the bill also. It's been alot of years.

A DVD of that show would kick ass. I could even deal with Randy J in spandex and polka dots.
