He's been part of a cut throat business for the better part of 40 years...he knows no better. And no matter what anyone says, I can hear adoration, admiration and respect when Neal stops and reminisces about Steve Perry and the time spent with him. And I hear the same in Perry's voice when referring to Neal. They fed off of, and complimented, one another. A truly dynamic combination. That combination was there before Cain and it should be there after Cain if that's what a reunion with Perry means. Friga, on the other hand, uses people. The guy seems like a cunningly evil genius. Neal is being taken for a ride. I suspect that Cain has at least, if not more, control of the band and its day to day decisions. Neal, wake the fuck up and send the princess packing. Anyone can play his keyboard parts and a reunion would be for the old hits only. Hire a great studio keys player, bring back Smitty and split those massive profits 4 ways. Let Tinkerbell go butcher more remakes of Faithfully.

I hope he gets the job as long as can create and not just cover the hits well.
The remarks against him for his accent and nationality are shallow and only reflect bad on you.

That was a very accurate discourse on Friga.

But now I'm wondering, do you think they'll let him sing "Oh Shellie"?

I'm not sure on the specifics of Jeremey's audition, but from what I read in interviews w/ SA, his seemed to only include Jon and Neal.
The fact that ALL members are together here seems to indicate this has moved beyond the audition stage.
Hmm...perhaps they are rehearsing for a surprise kick-off performance in Chicago early next month?
I mean, afterall, nobody has shouldered the brunt of the band's recent stupid fuckups moreso than Andrew.
Then again, these circus grifters aren't quick to bail out even their own bandmates, so what the fuck am I talking about?
