Well, that may not exactly be true. Rumor has it JW may have been the connection that got Glen and Dennis talking. Or so the rumor mill churns.

And Jimmy Leahey who has played guitar with John AND Glen, is now working with Dennis. All those folks bump into each other here and there on on the concert trail. Sometimes collaborations result.

Lisa and I got our tickets this morning ..... row N

Night Ranger being used as a guide to how big DDY is getting is folly ...... Night Ranger would struggle to fill Applebees .... love Night Ranger but in this day and age they cant be used as a guide ..... thats like saying Kansas now must be absolutely huge because Asia who had a number 1 album in 1982 opened for them this Summer for one show .....

Will be a great show ..... Is Glen in DDY's touring band for that show ?

Did we have this kind of talk when Dennis OPENED for Ted Nugent a few years back? Did anything happen? Nope..

I doubt that the guys from Night Ranger will even have a chance to talk to DDY and vice versa!

Get your facts straight. Dennis did not open for Ted.

Stepping out of lurk mode...yes they did a concert together in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. It also included Molly Hatchett. Yes Dennis opened, followed by Molly Hatchett and finishing up was Ted Nugent.

Dennis actually replaced Styx (not joking here) as they had somehow double booked themselves into this concert and one in Merrillville, Indiana at was/is called the Holiday Star Theater. I don't know the reason this happened. I do know they didn't sell out in Indiana. Very odd situation.

I do believe that there is no animosity between Dennis and Ted.

*watching tumbleweeds blow by* lol

BTW, the organization I believe Fansite was referring to is PETA. Tho, I'm pretty sure it's Hannah that's the PETA person in that family.

I saw Night Ranger a few weeks ago. Jack is very similar to Dennis on stage as he loves to talk to and joke around with the Audience. I think they would get along fine.

I don't give one shit how they would get along. Why does that matter?

Thanks for that.

Wouldn't Tommy also be apart of that organization since he is a vegetarian. Tommy doesn't strike me as the hunter type. Maybe a fisher. :D

I suggest reading up on the organization a bit. That might clear up any questions you have.

(PETA are the ones who throw paint on people wearing fur and walk around wearing signs that say "I'd rather go naked than wear fur." They are also die-hard vegans, not vegetarians. Tommy eats fish, so to them, he's a heathen. LOL)

Dunno, saw them at Crestwood IL Summer Fest over a year ago and they kicked a** (and there were a LOT of people there from the south burbs to see them) 8)

All I was saying was that Jack was similiar (personality wise) on stage to Dennis and I think they might get along as friends.

So lighten up smartass.

LtVanish wrote:No kidding since Styx was seen even opening for Foreigner this summer, for sure Styx would be the opening act for Night Ranger. Dennis is the man!

i disagree 100% with that statement. Night Ranger has sold roughly 15 million albums or so in their career while foreigner has sold close to 40 million albums.....I have seen many different numbers presented over the years but some reports have foreigner outselling styx.....there is no shame in opening for foreigner...in addition, they rotated with foreigner according to what i read on this current tour. now with all of that said there is no way styx would open for night ranger.
