ok.. it's been quiet here, so i figured i'd post. I just met Slash at his booksigning here. It was very quick, he just signed the book and that was about it. they wouldn't let you pose for pictures etc, but i did get to shake his hand. The picture is on my myspace page. myspace.com/stomachmonkeys

They've had many famous authors there doing readings and signings: Both Bill & Hillary Clinton, Alan Alda, Anne Rice, Jackie Collins..... the list goes on.

i was very surprised how quickly they moved everybody through the store. For anne rice, it took 2 or 3 hours. but she posed for pictures and chatted. Slash wrote his name, and that was about it. LOL

I saw him on Fox & Friends the other day doing his book promo spot, he may have been having an off day but he didn't seem to be very articulate.. good thing he's a killer guitarist and not a public speaker. You still gotta love him though.
