Dying On My Feet

Postby Liam » Thu Nov 15, 2007 12:50 pm

This is a REALLY good song. Nice moody feel and Kimball can really belt out those notes...especially the one right before the solo. Kinda took me a couple of listens to get into it...but now that I have...it's been one of my favorites on the double disc.
I finally got to listen to this song care of Andrew and the MRCD4. Thanks again, bro. Ya know how to compile a cd. :-)

You should buy the album "Falling in Between" because if you like this song, you will love the entire album. It is the best album by any band in the 2000's.

Dying is the most progressive / complex cut on the album, though the title cut is in the same vein, albeit atypical toto. Great tracks throughout the album. King of the World is awesome, as are Let It Go, and Hooked. Taint your world is a definite rocker.

Not my favorite song on the album, but the instrumental section at the end is amazing. There's definitely better stuff on that record though, Andrew was right on in picking it as the best of 2006.

Amazing that so late in their careers, Toto released their best album... BY FAR...

GREAT work here by the boys.

Yeah, not my favorite song really - King of The World kicks ass big time..

Although, I would have to agree, the instrumental section of DOMF is KING!!
