I'd put my money on yes, but better than nothing. There are two videos for Babe, so it'll be interesting to see which one they choose.

Trying to find out, but I would only assume DOlby 2.0. I highly doubt it was remixed for surround (most of the reissue Uni ones have not been).

Yes, they're going to over-dub DDY's voice with Gowan's. ;-)

Great line-up of songs. Add it to my Christmas list. Only one minor complaint - nothing of Edge which was an A&M record and certainly could have been included - but if they wanted to keep it true to the original line-up then they did their job.

Wow! I was hoping for the Havent We Been Here Before and Heavy Metal Poisoning videos but thought that would never happen. Remember the 20th century masters dvd of Styx videos. Happy to have it but they could have included the videos from Edge of the Century. Oh well, cannot wait for CITA to come out on DVD. I've only seen bits of CITA on youtube. This will be a vast improvement.

Only Rajah would find fault (albeit a minor one) with this DVD Release.

Why would a concert video filmed in 1983, covering most of Styx's hits from 1975-83, released in 1984 would have videos from an album that was released in 1991?

Boggles the mind I do say..

BUT Its still a VERY cool DVD and I'm definately picking up three, one for myself, one for my sis and one for one of my best friends.

BTW, Release Date in Canada, Dec 4th, IF it isn't pushed back again...

Yeah, but that original video was really cool. I love the shot where Tommy stands up and plays the guitar solo and wags his finger at Righteous. That and the little pre concert film were my favorite moments from the whole Kilroy thing. Oh, and the VW commercial. That was also hilarious.
NO. He's NOT Steve F'ing Perry. But he's Arnel F'ing Pineda and I'm okay with that.

How many versions of CSA are there? The only one I am aware of is the one that is already on the Best of 20th Centuries DVD. Same with Boat On The River.

Most everyone ripped this concert, but it was BRILLIANT.

I saw the Kilroy show four times. Once was at the Texas Jam.

AWESOME shows!!

They were YEARS ahead of the curve.

Brilliant? Come on now. Years ahead of the curve? In what way? Cornball dialogue? If done right, Kilroy could have been something major, instead it was pretty much of a joke in most circles.

Honestly, while I will buy this as an extension of my collection...for me, the live concert left me rather flat. Now I do genuinely like Kilroy Was Here overall (and yes I can say that with a straight face), CITA leaves me well...wanting something better. Still, on their worst day, they surpass that which I can do (and quit smirking...I know that isn't saying much).

Peace to all

A movie, a play and a concert ALL rolled into one.

Has anyone ever done this??

To this day??

The themes being censorship, our constitutional rights, unlawful imprisonment, and big brother spying on us whenever the hell he wants to.

Damn, what are the Leftwing, Bleeding Heart Demo's screaming about this VERY day???

Dennis was literally DECADES ahead of the curve!!

A 20 + minute actual movie, that then turned into a play, that then turned into a concert, that then turned back into a play.

They all had those??

If they did.......??????

Then it's my bad.

Dennis's concert/concept was still DECADES ahead of us.

Perhaps not in a single gig following that exact structure, but yeah, the elements were already out there (including the futuristic censorship concept, in the case of Zappa.) DDY combined them in a fairly interesting way but I wouldn't call KWH/CITA a major step forward in the rock/theater idiom.

However, one thing that I do think was truly innovative was the incorporation of Styx's regular set list into the concept, so they could still milk their greatest hits while putting the new theatrics across. Very savvy marketing concept -- makes one wonder why, with such flexibility built into the show, they couldn't just loosen up and play regular gigs when the situation called for it (young Mr Sucherman's story comes to mind.)
