I still think that the dude "Jeremey" in the white shirt did a better job singing then the other dude, but hey, my taste may be different and I'm not famous or anything so thats that. Does sound pretty cool that people are throwing private parties like that though.

Jeff can sing the higher parts. He was performing the Rolie part on this song though. He's a chameleon and can sing anything.

It is just a great clip.

Ouch. Between Florida and South Bend those things have made difficult mornings for me. They are pretty tasty though.

It's not good to be the bartender. Then you have to taste test each pitcher. That's where I got in trouble I think   I never went in the bounce house! Melissa did and I have video of that

I'm sorry, but I don't think you know what you are saying :? Do you even know who the original singers are who recorded that song?

How did you end up on MelodicRock and have to refer to Jeff Scott Soto (AND Jeremey) for that matter as "those dudes". You don't think anyone's buying this, do you?

I personally don't know either of them by name or face so I don't know who the hell they are. Actually the only singer I could identify as being with Journey is Steve Perry himself. Other then that, I don't know "Jeremey" and "Jeff" from Adam. Next time I could refer to them as one with the mop on his head and the other with sort of a high and tight with a taper in the back.

I'm not a bias consumer but if I had my choice, I think that "Jeremey's" voice would be a bit more apealing for me to go out and get the album vs if "Jeff" was on it. In all reality, the only Journey that I listen to is with Steve Perry in the band.

But I'll give both of them credit where credit is due, they've got to sing with Journey and that's a lot more then I could say.

No I'm sorry, I don't know any of this stuff. But I'm learning stuff I didn't know before. Now you mentioned Jeremey and Frontiers. I think I've heard his voice somewhere before but just can't place it. I did take another look at the video and Jeremey does do a correct vocalizing job. When I first saw the video, I thought that we were looking at Journey's lead singer doing a tune and then some guy that just jumped up on stage to sing with him. They looked like average Joe's to me.

I'm glad we were finally able to share this clip with the masses!!! :D

That was an INCREDIBLE weekend all around! One of the best so far. Mojitos, Jello Shooters, Karaoke... Amazing! Oh, and let's not forget the police that showed up. "The person that called said it sounded just like Journey singing..." little did she know that the real lead singer from Journey and the best Journey tribute band were the ones performing for us.

And then of course... "Oh Dan, your ride is here..."

It's such a shame it was overshadowed by the BS that followed just a few weeks later. What a bunch of tards!

No way, so the band in that clip wasn't Journey? I was under the impression that the entire Journey band was playing in someone's back yard at a private party. And that sucks about the cops showing up. Basically I think if someone would have invited the chick who called the cops over to the party, she may have been down with all the activities. 9 times out of 10, people will call the cops cause they feel left out. It's their way of using the long arm of the law to dick with the group of people that they feel purposely left them out and deprived them of fun and a good time.

I found this site because I had heard Arnel was going to be Journey's new lead singer and I wanted to find out as much as possible about this news. I was poking around reading various forums and this one seemed the most active, accurate, and volatile. So I chose to get involved.
