Dennis DeYoung on Public television

This seems to be a different one from the one I saw last year. It's funny because my grandmother called to tell me it was on, then 2 more people after that called me to tell me it was on. LOL

I wonder if people think I'm a Styx fan or something?

I wish Dennis could find his way to Houston Public Television. :? I am getting pretty sick of repeated and repeated (ad infinitum) of Celtic Women, and Doo Wop, and Roy Orbison, etc. etc. Yeesh! :roll:

BTW, it is nice to know that he is still doing the studio thing for the PBS station fund raisers. About 2 or 3 years ago he had raised nearly $2 million for public TV stations around the country.

Good ol' Grandma, Zan! :D

Yeah what ever happened to the good old days of Public Broadcasting? I grew up watching Monty Python and Fawlty Towers and great educational shows like that on PBS.

Well, actually, I wasn't talking about their regular programming. Just the fund-raising stuff. My local PBS needs a bit more imagination in that regard.

They still have some amazing programming on there. "The War" was magnificent.

Yeah FT was the best, perfect cast. Can't you just hear Sybil Faulty screaming at the top of her lungs, "BASIL, BASIL, BASIL". I remember the end of one show he threw himself into the back of the dirty laundry truck and let them carry him off. Manuel was funny too.
