Dry it up, crybaby. Pardon the cliche but age is just a number. I don't judge based on it, and I'd expect the same of others. Most of my friends are your age if not 5 years +/- that. 8)

Hey! Image

No wonder I like you... you run with the big dogs and don't pee like a puppy (love that saying). I've always had a certain portion of friends that were 5+ years older than me - that's how I was able to get into bars at 17 and never get thrown out or even carded.

Yep! I did more drinking in bars before I was 21 than I have after. In fact, my "wild oats" as far as booze goes were sewn my last year of college. The majority of my friends are in their 30s. I just happened to be not only the baby in the family, but the baby in whatever group I run with. I can't stand people my own age.

I love that saying, too. 8)

Hey you could both be my daughters so quit the fuckin' whinin' about your age. I'm still rockin' at 58 and I'm cool with it. 8) Image

Same here on all counts. baby of the family and used to be baby of the friends too. I didn't like people my own age when I was your age either. But now that I'm the older one, people my age are more tolerable (because their not your age anymore)... holy hell... I just confused myself. But still, people my age are cool - that's why YOU like us. :D

I'm not entirely sure that's a scar in that pic. I know some people have said they've seen what looked like scars in pics before, but think about this. He's a wealthy man who can afford the very best in cosmetic surgery. He's also a very private man. Why would he allow a scar as big as that one appears to be when he knows it would cause this kind of speculation?

My daughter was in an automobile accident when she was 15. It broke the C5 vertebrae. Her surgery was a miracle because she could very easily have been paraplegic, but several of the posters here met her at DCVader's last May 11. They went in from the front and she has a scar, but it's not as big as what looks like a scar on Steve's neck in that pic. We were told that a cosmetic surgeon could eliminate the scar, but that our insurance wouldn't pay for it.

The point being that Steve probably would have had a cosmetic surgeon eliminate the scar, whatever the reason for the surgery.

OHSherrie

You are right that is not a scar ..... that is the mole that was removed.

And it may not have been for cosmetic reasons. And there may be reasons the scar cannot beminimized.

Not to start rumors here, but didn't his mother die from cancer? Since he is prone to moles, it would stand to reason that he may have had some form of skin cancer.

Oh boy. Let's not speculate here. :?
His mother supposedly died from a neurological disorder. But, let's leave her out of this, I am sure SP would appreciate that.
SP has numerous moles and dark spots that do look "suspicious" but how do we know he had any removed? Do we have personal physicians on this board who actually removed the mole/s? Or were you there holding his hand while he was having it removed?

That's a pretty long scar for a mole isn't it though? My ex had a couple moles removed and they never left anywhere near that big of a scar and one was a fair sized one. :?

I'm speculating no more than anyone else here. Other people in this thread brought up him possibly having a mole removed. They also speculated that he had surgery on his vocal cords.

The Cancer thing, I framed it as a question because I wasn't sure. People that have lots of moles are more susceptible cancer, so it's a natural progression.

I was goig to say that too Deb, except I didn't because it's breaking my rule of getting into discussions like this.
Does it really matter what the scar is from? We all have them. Could be any number of things.

But Deb, you're right. I had one removed and you would have to look mighty close and I'd have to point it out.
It's BARELY even a scar.
