My wishes for Styx & DDY

The 5 nights would certainly be a nice way to end the whole thing at the end of a tour.. Different set list every night or format.

An entire different set list every night? I know for a fact that wouldn't happen. They wouldn't have enough time to re-learn and for those that weren't in the band during the "hey-day", to learn all those songs to have a different set-list.

There are a few songs that a few members would never perform live ever or again either

But then again, if the fans of old and new would make it known, you never know what songs might be added

OOPs, my wish/es would be:
Dennis, Tommy, J.Y., Chuck, with Todd. To do a show in Marshfield, Wisconsin. For the hell of it.

Marshfield????? LOL If they played in Central Wisconsin, it probably would be in WI Rapids or Stevens Point.

IF they would get back together with the Styx name it would probably be:

Dennis, Tommy, JY, Chuck, Todd, Glen and with Larry. IMO

IF a "reunion" without the Styx name, it probably would be:

Dennis, Tommy, Chuck, Glen, Todd and probably one or two of Dennis' guitarists. I would think 2 guitarists. IMO.

Well, you know, some members (and ex-members) of the band read this stuff, and some, uh ...have it read for them. Either way, they're better off not knowing, IMO.

Believe it not, I'm sure various members of the band Styx, current members and former members do enjoy knowing how fans of old and new feel about each camp, especially songs that they would like to hear live.

I'm sure they don't like the same old crap about the negative stuff, I'm sure that gets old. I'm sure new suggestions, ideas and reviews of recent shows are welcomed. IMO

Exactly. And as we already established, Stabbim said "read this stuff," meaning: This board. Nothing new to see here in the way of real suggestions and ideas, not without sifting through countless posts of canned negativity first. Like he said, they're better off not knowing at all.

(I'm not completely sure that suggestions are "welcomed" either, mind you. lol)

todd rocks. he's one of the most talented drummers out there. styx is lucky to have him on board- he is a tremendous asset to their sound.

I've never known them to play in Rapids or Point. Unless that was when I lived out of state. Marshfield, Merrill, or better yet, WaZOO! Wausau has always seemed to be a good stopping off point for them.

3/5th's of that line up were there last summer. So was I and it was an awesome show.

I was there, too. Small world. And it was EXCELLENT!

1. That the current six players plus Dennis & Glen get together one last time for five shows at the Rosemont Theatre in Chicago.

2. That they record for DVD and CD release a combination of 35-40 songs from those five shows .

3. That they record 3-5 new songs that remind me of old days to be a part of the DVD/CD package.

4. That these shows don't have the same bs cliches about having dreams or starting the whole train a rollin.

5. That they go off into the sunset and never mention getting together again.

Froy I am confused about what you say here, I guess it is no surprise. If the current 6 memebers add Dennis and Glen,then Gowan , Ricky, and Todd are part of this.
