Styx without Gowan or Dennis

How about a Styx without a full time keyboard player? Gowan would be gone, many here would get their wish of having him out of the band and they would no longer have to play Dennis' songs. They could hire some unknown to hide out in the back and play some keys and provide background vocals. I can live without hearing Lady, Come Sail Away or Grand Illusion for the billionth time.

Setlist without Dennis songs:

1. Too Much Time On My Hands
2. Fooling Yourself
3. Lorelei
4. One With Everything
5. Mademoiselle
6. Great White Hope
7. Blue Collar Man
Drum Solo
8. Small Acoustic set..Boat On The River, Yes I Can, Lights
9. Crystal Ball
10.Superstars
11.Snowblind
12.Miss America
13.22 Years-loved this one on the '76 bootleg
14.Man In The Wilderness
15.Midnight Ride..Dueling Guitar Solos
Encore
16.Love In The Midnight
17.Half-Penny Two-Penny
18.Renegade

interesting idea....the song in your setlist I can least imagine w/o keyboards is O.W.E.

still, this would be an interesting show to hear, I'm not sure if I would like it, but wouldnt really know until after hearing.

There would still be keyboards just no one out front singing leads along with playing keys. Granted, it would not be a show for a Styx fan who cannot live without Dennis tunes.

Doesn't J.Y. play keyboards? Or, maybe I'm missing something? I'm kinda out of the loop, I know.

But...Steve Smith! Where would he fit in? I don't think you should settle, Froy! You could have your dream band! Just hold on a little longer!
