Bootlegs of live events are one thing, and some artists may even have an issue with those being obtained and shared, but you can't request recorded music that is for sale. What are you trying to do, get Larry in trouble or something?Journey/Survivor wrote:I have a similar request to the Erick Martin one.
Does anyone have the Glen Burtnick solo album that Neal Schon played on, and if so would you be willing to post some download links for some of the songs that Neal played on? I have the cassette tape of that album, and it no doubt sounds much better on CD. Plus, I can only burn from CD to CD, I can't do cassette to CD.
I would very much appreciate any help that I might be given with some download links of the Glen Burtnick songs with Neal Schon on guitar.
And thanks again Larry for the Eric Martin link!

I guess maybe it has been re-released on CD? But it had been long since out of print, in which case there wouldn't have been anyway of having bought it from the record company that it was on. Plus, it's free publicity for Glen Burtnick.
I wasn't asking Larry in specific, although he helped me out on the Martin tune, which I appreciate.

Heroes and Zeros, is Glen's best album, however I'll concede Welcome to Hollywood is a close second...
Neal has an AMAZING solo for 'Day Your Ship Gets Through' (Glen does an acapella thing for the first two minutes of the song with a drum machine, then the last minute and a half is Neal soloing with a 'full' rocked out band. One of my favorite songs). 60 % of the rest of that album is classic AOR (Follow You, Love Goes On (I think Neal is on this one too), Here Comes Salley (what an addicting pop tune, stuck in my head for years)
I've mentioned it before, but what the heck...In communcating with Glen back in the earlier days of the Internet (around '94), on Prodigy (remember that POS??), Glen told me he was originally in talks be in HSAS, the funny part was that if Glen was in the band it would have been called H.S.B.S.
In Glen related news, I saw his son (Beau) play in a band 'No More Kings' (see also Sweep the Leg - Karate Kid tribute on youtube). Great band and good tunes. Beau was an interesting 'cat', but a definite showman, and great bass player.
In other Glen related news, has anyone seen the vids of his Police covers band? They were really good. His drummer in that band was insane.
