You could take all the incarnations Journey was going to do right before TBF and insert every musician you wanted in the band at the time..Meaning.. You would have one Album with Chalfant,Rollie,Schon,Cain,Deen,Ross. Or the current line up.Or One with Augeri or Soto..I know this isn't possible,but say they put out 5 albums seperately with each incarnation..I wonder Which album would be the best..Listen LOONS..you don't get to say Perry.. I know Augeri has done one with them,but we are talking right after Frontiers..I'm just curious to see what people think..Man would that be something tho!

Just trying to keep the Loons at bay and not seem like I'm anti-Perry. I'm anti-Perry the band member, but pro-Perry (God, just saying that term makes me want to blow chunks) the vocalist. Getting back on topic, I'd like to hear what the Rolie/Chalfant voiced Journey would have sounded like. In fact, why don't they just release the material they recorded before Steve Atta flew into the studio and nixed that project? I want to hear the Chalfant/Rolie material, man.

Or,"I've got a lot to learn about love" Still one of my all time favorite songs.. I heard clips from "eye of the storm" and wasn't too impressed. Also...Listen Deb.. "Believe in me" from Schon and JSS was a Journey song as was "Coming home".. Both exceptional songs,but the singer doesn't sound Journey enough..He would have been toast singing the dirty dozen every night..
