the one thing that is no good , is that an adult player could have used that equipment mush more than that kid.. some guy out trying to make a living playing music etc...

but of course it would go into the pawn shop in 3 weeks,, and within a year would be late on paying his monthly and lose it ..

If you read Neil Peart's latest book you'll get a completely different perspective on that incident. The police in this area apparently have a reputation for heavy handedness and it seemed they went way, way over the top in dealing with the initial situation. Alex was beaten and tried to defend himself but then found himself accused of assault.

Man that's a cool story. And as far as I know, all three from Rush are class acts. The Lifeson New Year's incident was an anomaly - haven't read Peart's account of it yet, but I'm sure there's two sides to the story. Rush has never been known as a hotel destroying, groupie banging band.

BTW, I hope that kid had some kind of tone-coloring metal zone pedal on or something because otherwise that amp sounded nothing like Alex's. Quite terrible actually. Yeah yeah, tone is in the fingers, but a power chord is a power chord and that sounded gross.
