thanks to T-Bone for his hard work controlling a few loose Baboons in the Zoo.

I was offline due to Hurricane force winds blowing the shit out of my city. I have just had power restored after 12 hours without any. Glad to say my house survived, but some of my fence, a gate, several trees and an out door setting did not.

For those curious -

and

As for the obvious baiting and crap that flowed from some keyboards here - I am very very disappointed and the forum is a few members lighter this morning.

That was no hurricane -- that was Don Dokken belting out a new tune from Lightning Strikes Again.

Or one of Deano's burps. It's amazing how much air he ingests when slamming back to back to back beers. He burps and it's like a fucking tornado in the room. The people in the sports book in Vegas were divided about it. Half were amused and the other half were horrified.  I wish I could have youtubed that 3 hour drunk fest. I'll do it next time.

I'll try and find some other pics - pre-storm.

Place was as brown as the desert until a couple of weeks back when summer broke.

It was a long night. Not much sleep. Kept hearing things blwoing around and banging and breaking and the wind...damn, 15 hours of it...ending with a downpoor.
Finally has died off now and rain has eased off also.

Same here Andrew. Glad you and your family are ok. I hope the damage to your home was minimal.

Nothing a few hours in the garden with a hammer, drill and screws won't fix. Oh, and picnic table

Andrew's picnic table is seriously hot. I'm just sayin'. As far as picnic tables go, she's the one for me. A perfectly polished sandalwood with a superb finish...great legs...the whole kitten caboodle...
But around town, it was well known...when they got home at night
Their fat and psychopathic wives
Would thrash them within inches of their lives!

Glad everything is ok, Andrew...

We live about an hour northeast of New Orleans (Baton Rouge), and Katrina was like that - Hurricane Rita as well. Thankfully, we came out of both relatively unscathed as well...

Here in Ohio the spring can have many tornadoes. When I see a front with a of temp change of 30 degrees plus I head for the TV and possibly basement. In 74 we had an F 4 or F 5 come from Ky over the river at 4pm on a newscast.. We took the kids to the basement. Little did we know the sirens would go off till 2am. The next year the same thing. There was sooo much damage. One of the years destroyed Xenia near Dayton, Oh. Then 6 yrs ago about the same. I hope you can easily fix the damage and glad all are safe. Was it a severe storm or cyclone aka tornado.
