Journey and Joe Sixpack

Just finished reading "Joe Sixpack's Philly Beer Guide," by Don (Joe Sixpack) Russell. He's a lifestyle columnist for the Philadelphia Daily News. It's a great book about the history of microbrews and the bar scene in the Philadelphia area. Turns out that Philly has a rich, long and succesful history in microbrews, and has one of the best Belgian beer bars in the world, Monk's.

Anyway, the chapter on bar amusements and their history (darts, shuffleboard, etc.) mentions they boys.

"Karaoke: Yeah, it's corny as hell. But get a couple good beers into your gut and you'll be singing along with Journey too."

If you're into craft beers, I recommend the book. If you're a BudMillerCoors drinker (not that there's anything wrong with that), don't waist your time...just drop the $14.95 on your next 30 pack.

Bingo!
I like to sit out on the front porch, where the birds can see me, eating a plate of scrambled eggs, just so they know what I'm capable of.
