Looks very nice, I like the color composition a lot and the "modernized" graphic style.

The emerging scarab is the same one featured on tour shirts around the time Jeff came in.
As for the background, well, aside from some happy sunshine rays, there isn't much to speak of here.
The red background is just a hazy blur.
This band hasn't released cover art or an album worthy of it's name since "Arrival."

We a1ready know there's 3 decent song on it so its got Generations beat un1ess they put Ross on the voca1s of the rest.

I like it as art (the flames and colors especially), but here are my overzealous criticisms again:
-As TNC said, this is an old scarab. It's older than the tour with Jeff... I have a poster from '02 or '03 with a veeeeery similar scarab, which has probably just been 'shopped for more recent appearances. So it's not very original, though yes, it is pretty.
-STOP USING FREE FONTS JOURNEY! I work with graphics a lot and I notice these things immediately. I guess I just feel like a pro band like Journey should get a more original font (which they did with Arrival)
First the site font (also used on Essential Journey and was the theme on a Journey fan site 2+ years before): http://www.dafont.com/hirosh.font
"Revelation" is written in what looks very suspiciously like Papyrus, which is standard in Windows.
That said, it's far better than Generations, which was a really lazy cover.

I said "emerging scarab"..I meant as in the whole "rising from the ashes" flames motif. I didn't see that until Jeff came aboard at the 11th hour. I could be wrong tho.

As Sarah said, that is generic font and really looks cheap. Too much red and yellow. The Scarab looks as solid as ever though (probably because it has been used before), that's about it.
I'd of scrapped it, but kept the Scarab.
