This thread is informative and educational. Drew's fulfilling his public service quota for the month just by leaving this up.

This pic is hilarious. Look at this dude. This has to be early to mid 80's. My stepmother wore glasses like that when I was a teenager. He's got a lit cigarette, sitting on one of those old polished cotton covered chairs and working on a 8088 IBM PC/XT. He was fuckin happenin dude.
I like to sit out on the front porch, where the birds can see me, eating a plate of scrambled eggs, just so they know what I'm capable of.

What's even funnier is the cross-stitch hung on the wall behind him. On wood-panel walls. Wowza. Stud. :P

:P ..now that I think about it..this guy probrably works like 100 feet underground at some 'secret' plant..

Funny thing is that in high school I had a friend who knew a kid who probrably could have pulled a 'Wargames' on his high school and his dad looked somewhat like this guy..

Maybe that's why Van Halen kicked DLR out for all of those years. He kept eating the non-brown M&Ms on tour and couldn't fit in one airplane seat. Now that he's lost all that weight, they let him come back.

You really are OTL, dude.

Dave left VH in 1985. He has always been in fantastic, top physical condition due to 35 years of working out, martial arts, rock climbing, and swimming.

THAT is a picture of Edward Van Halen, not DLR. You are aware of that, right?
But around town, it was well known...when they got home at night
Their fat and psychopathic wives
Would thrash them within inches of their lives!

Oops! Sometimes it hard to keep my rock icons straight. I knew it wasn't Meatloaf, at least not the face.
