Amazon has been fast and very reliable, and I have'nt been dissapointed yet, although its taking a while to get into "The Wooden nickel recordings". The songs that have grabbed me most is "A Day", "Father O.S.A" and "Witch wolf".
But I have to say that "Equinox" is a major step up from the wooden nickel years. Seriously, its like the band got a super charged kick up the arse. Its A+ and totally different from the first 4 albums. "Mother dear" is what has grabbed me most, the lyrics are just amazing. Dennis De Young has gotta be one of the most under rated performers of all time. "Midnight ride" rocks the house down, and this is an album without Tommy Shaw.
So far my Top 5 albums are =
Paradise theatre
Equinox
The Grand illusion
Pieces of eight
Crystal ball

I was 18 at the time, and for the 1st time I felt like they were aiming at an audience younger than me. Paradise Theatre was a bit better thankfully, but it was never quite the same after that.
I guess I am one of those "Four gospels of Styx" people.
