Confused about Steve's USA tour dates-especially LA

His site says 17 August, Greek Theatre. Greek's site says Jethro Tull and the Young Dubliners. Is Steve the opening act? When I saw those dates I thought, (correctly as it's turning out) there's no way he's headlining, when Toto plays smaller venues such as the Canyon Club and the Wiltern. If a 30 min opening set is all we get, that would be a shame.

I already answered this & so did someone else but they both got deleted?? No Greek Theatre Show for Luke. The ONLY confirmed U.S. date is Aug. 12th opening for Jethro Tull @ Red Rocks. Also Luke told me at the Rockline Show that he will hit the U.S. hard touring!

Doesn't that directly contradict his statements about touring the US with Toto? I mean, if he can't do it with his relatively famous band, how's he going to do it solo? I'm not saying it's a bad thing, I'd kill to see his solo show, but you sure you heard his comments right?

Of course I heard him correctly. In person he looked at me and said that he would tour & hit harder solo than with Toto. It's probably alot cheaper to Tour on a smaller scale & hit smaller venues than Theatres. They will have a smaller,crew,band management.

True. Luke just seemed really disillusioned with the States, not that I can blame him, but that statement surprises me. Hopefully it proves to be true though, I'd kill to see one of those solo shows.

Turns out Luke had strep throat early Aug & had to cancel some dates before the 18th
but then they wouldn't have known that in sMay would they

What's wrong with a small up close & personal venue?

Im on his site every week so did see that thanks. And my band is gigging each of those three nites...so I can't go. Damn!!!!!!!! This is a long tour so I will get another chance soon.
