Shocking trivia

I lost twenty bucks on this because I got it wrong...

The question was, who has had more Billboard top 10 singles, Journey or Styx?

I said that there was no doubt that it was definitely Journey...Unfortunately I was dead wrong!! You would have thought that Journey had way more top 10 singles than Styx, but no...

Styx has had 8, Journey has had 6.

Styx - Lady, Babe, Come Sail Away, The Best of Times, Too Much Time On My Hands, Mr. Roboto, Don't Let It End, Show Me The Way
Journey - Don't Stop Belevin, Who's Cryin Now, Open Arms, Seperate Ways, Only The Young, Be Good To Yourself

Before you ask, Faithfully peaked at #12 and Lovin Touchin Squeezin at 19.

This was one of those things that truly shocked me.

My in-laws live in Titusville. My father-in-law is a retired minister who now is the GED coordinator at the local prison and my mother-in-law works at the Wal Mart there.

Nah...I'm asking for it for Father's Day. I had planned on buying it out of my spending account but I accidentally overdrafted it, so there's no available cash. Guess I'll just have to be patient for a couple of weeks.

Ouch, if you don't have overdraft protection, those overdraft fees will eat you alive. I've done it too. :x

Nah...I only keep somewhere between $10-$40 at any given time in that account, just usually for buying lunch or other minor personal purchases.

Wow, I didn't even know they had THAT many. I thought it was just Open Arms and maybe DSB. Very nice.

I guess maybe I should take solace in the fact that Styx was always a more "pop" oriented band than Journey so, therefore they probably would have more top 10 hit singles. I know Journey sold more albums than Styx..

I agree.
I am surprised though that Mr. Roboto made the top ten list but Renegade didn't. *sigh* Oh well
