The Rockline site archives the last two weeks of broadcasts without commercials under Rockline Replay. Journey's hasn't shown up yet, but it should soon.

Do u mean the rockline interviews? It's all captured by somebody from the journeymusic forum. Try getting in there and find it under the thread. You can have it downloaded, a huge 80mb file.

Too much work. Somebody help a brother out.

To tell the truth, even before LocknLoad posted saying that he's not Neal, I was going to point out that LocknLoad's first post on here tonight came only about 20 minutes after the band finished the show tonight. And while yes, it's certainly possible that Neal or one of the other band members could have posted on here that fast, I still don't know how likely it is that he/they would have logged on here so soon after the show?

It's Neal or it's def his sn.
It's been confirmed by others besides Deano.
Fuck - just a few posts up he was discussing why Arnel was chosen, before personally reminiscing about Santana.

Funny thing is that there is a music website that I used to post on that I spoke so highly of Neal Schon's guitar playing that other members of the site used to accuse me of being Neal Schon.

People here thought I worked for Nomota after 5 posts.

I am friends with some of the guys so ask and I will try to be of help to get actual and accurate info to you from them when I can. Cool? It's time. There has been so many "misses" in here.

Well, I was listening online, which granted, is low quality, but here's what I perceived:
Bob Coburn called out the caller's name, told him he was on air. The caller immediately identified himself as being from MR.com, mentioned Andrew and said many people on this site were listening via live internet stream.

Then silence. Not even Bob spoke up.

When Neal had a hard time hearing previous callers, he spoke up and asked them to repeat themselves, specifying he couldn't understand and/or hear them. Mind you, Neal had no problem answering the MR caller's question, which was asked right after a period of dead silence had passed. When Neal answered the question, his voice wasn't jovial and excited as with previous callers. There was a definite chill to his tone.

If as you say, it was just simply a case of not being able to hear, then I stand corrected. But I find it very unlikely that not a single person in that room didn't hear a word of a 4-6 sentence monologue, especially given that Bob Coburn introduced the caller and didn't speak up during the MR.com caller's self introduction/monologue period, nor did he ask Neal if he heard what was said.

That being said, I don't blame Neal for feeling that way toward some members of this site. But he also shouldn't let the few affect his perception of the majority. You know, the majority who love his work and have continued to support his efforts over the years when others didn't?

That's all I'm saying.

You're not the only one that 'felt' that awkward silence...but, it wasn't surprising. Unfortunately, the good gets lumped in with the bad.

I liked hearing the new tracks played on Rockline. I was worried about Any Way You Want it when I heard it live in Chile (Arnel's timing) but this recording sounds pretty good. Wildest Dreams sounds like it rocks. People griping about "I don't know if he can rock" or "just a ballad singer", man, I'm diggin that track. Sounds pretty rocking to me. Not to open a can of worms, but JSS would've sounded good on this one too. Sounds like the band really cuts loose on it and has fun. To me, this is a definite 'departure' for the band. I like it.

Sounds like Shirley used a ton of echo on stuff. Not sure if I'm digging that or not.

I loved Neal's comment about "some people are tired of hearing the old songs, so the new ones are for me" (paraphrased)- very cool.

"Change for the Better" sounds great. I think Shirley has really elevated the material.

I admit, I was a little nervous about the new CD at first, but after hearing the songs in their entirety, I'm stoked and behind this big time.

For a second language, I thought he did fine. People are overblowing them having to walk him through answers. There was no chill either with the MR mention.

Ross stole the show. When talking about Carlos Santana, I laughed when he did, "you go now."

I agree. I think the silence is being blown out of proportion.

And as I was streaming the broadcast I had a hard time making out what a few of the callers were saying. I know at least one time Neal had to ask what a caller had just asked, and I wasn't able to make out the question either.

I have the utmost respect for Carlos guitar playing, and he's in my top 20 favorite guitarists list without question, maybe even top 10.

But I don't know why he seems so afraid to share the spotlight with Neal? Even back when Neal was in the band they would not credit Neal on the albums for the solos that he played.

Actually, I think that I've read that Dickinson, Smith, Murray and Harris are all fans of Journey? The other Iron Maiden members may be fans too, but I'm almost positive that the ones that I named are Journey fans.

Same reason Eddie put the kebosh on SoulSirkus opening for Van Halen two years ago.
Those guys have remained stagnant at their craft. Neal marvels me every tour. He keeps getting better and better.

Alright already! Not looking for drama - just saying that it seemed awkward but that's just me then...could be my perception because there is no longer the same relationship Journey has with MR that it once did. And, your last remark makes you sound like an ass.
