My Mom alerted me to this article which appeared in the San Antonio
Express News via the Los Angeles Daily News.
Now how is THAT for some far flung publicity for Dennis???
I was unable to find the link either to the LA Daily News or the SA
Express News on the internet for this article but it appears below.
It was quite prominent on the page of this section.
(He is not even playing a concert in San Antonio. This was simply an
article they felt was worthy of publishing in their paper ...)

Smooth Sailing for Styx's DeYoung
Down but not out. That's singer Denis DeYoung's story and he's
sticking to it.
The former lead vocalist for quintessential classic rock band Styx,
DeYoung has been sidelined the past several years because of a rare
eye disease that caused him to be ultra sensitive to light. Then he
endured a major legal hassle with his former bandmates, who continue
to use the name Styx without DeYoung.
On the comeback trail, DeYoung is touring as a solo artist for the
first time, and he's doing it in style.
DeYoung, 57, is scheduled to perform Styx classics such as "Come
Sail Away," "Lady," "Babe," and "Grand Illusion," along with solo
hits.
"It's like a dream for me to have the opportunity to stand in front
of an audience and play the same music I've been playing for 30
years but with a full orchestra behind me." DeYoung said. "It's a
thrill to say the least."

As to the recent article originally from the Tribune, this is done all the time. I read articles sourced from many newspapers in the Houston Chronicle. Again. Apparently in San Antonio, they feel Dennis is newsworthy.![]()
