It's nothing to do with iTunes database...
The track & artist names & data were not encoded properly during the mastering of the disc. They forgot to do the CDDB encoding.
My disc 1 shows no songs titles at all. And disc 2 has 3 mis-spellings on the track names.
It's just carelessness during the mastering process.
I've prepped several CDs for the mastering process and know what has to be done, and they just didn't do it, or didn't do it properly.
Along with the production of the music and vocals, it seems like they rushed the post production process as well.
I hope they encoded the ISRC stuff properly, otherwise no one will get paid their royalties.
Speaking of that, I thought it was a nice gesture to both Jeremey and Steve Augeri to include one of their tracks on the CD. This will likely be the best selling disc they've had in a while and it is a nice nod to those guys to throw them some song writing royalties. I would imagine that might be one of the reason for re-doing "Faith in the Heartland", since Generations did not sell very well.
