Not true. I'd love him to put out new music. Just because I don't think he ever will doesn't mean I wouldn't be happy if he did. I just don't think the guy will do it. He's like the boy that cried wolf. After a while, you don't believe it anymore.
I also have issues with the way that he held his band for ransom and fired two key members because they wouldn't play to a drum machine, among other things. To me, he needs to redeem himself, especially with his fans who he seems to do nothing for. How his diehard fans can remain fans after he stiffed their favorite band, screwed the members of said band over, and constantly dangles the carrot in front of the fans is beyond me.
I'm a Perry fan, but there's a limit.
