I mean, didn't he say he was done with David Paich a few months ago for licensing Rosanna to a TV commercial? Anyway, I *think* Steve occasionally comes here, so maybe he'll read that as an American fan who has bought everything Toto has put out, even if it means paying hefty import fees, I certainly have not turned my back on you guys Luke! The powers that be in this laughable entity we call the American record industry may have betrayed you and you've got every legitimate reason in the world to be bitter about that, but all the fans I know of yours (myself included) would give anything to see Toto live and to continue to hear new material. Just putting this out there in case you ever decide to get Toto back together in some capacity... at any rate, thanks for all the great music and guitar inspiration Luke. At least come to Cleveland on your solo tour if you can?

I'm really confused about it myself. Mike had some sort of wrist injury way back last year in the spring, but I don't see why it's taking him so long to heal.
David has been caring for a sick family member for quite some time. I think a lot of fans are frustrated that he hasn't been able to transfer the duties to someone else.

Supposedly Mike is coping with terminal pain of some kind... not sure if it's the wrist or another part of his body but supposedly he's in a good deal of pain a lot of the time which obviously doesn't bode well for standing on stage for a couple of hours a night or traveling in general. Really sad, he was pretty animated on the Amsterdam DVD as far as I could see.

I hope you are correct, but I am pretty doubtful now. Although maybe in 5-6 years people tend to change their minds. I am glad I was able to see them 3 times in the last few years.
Man this is a lot of heartbreak going on, no more Toto and the Yes Tour was cancelled. My whole world is in turmoil now.![]()

I heard about Yes and I thought of you right away. Do you know if they plan on resuming it?
As for Toto, I'm trying to be hopeful but at the same time Bobby's touring days are limited. If all is still quiet with Toto in 2 years, then I will have to accept it I suppose.

They cancelled the entire tour, my guess they may try it again either in the winter or next summer.
Perhaps Toto will tour with Joseph Williams at the lead if they ever come back, who knows. This news sucks, but life goes on, as a younger fan of these bands I have been perparing for the day the music will die and all I will have is relish in the past.

I know...I've thought about that too. It's hard to imagine that when I'm 40 none of my favorite bands will be touring. Unless of course we come up with some radical life extension exclusively for melodic rock artists.![]()
That's why I'm trying to get to as many concerts as I can these days.

If an album ever came out of that, I think my head might explode. It would be absolutely SICK.
