opening slot for Boston

STYX is getting some great reviews on the Boston forums. It seems like a lot of Boston fans have never seen STYX before.

"Styx actually hit the stage 5 minutes early & had the fans on their feet from the first note of Blue Collar Man. After reading other posts of their performance from previous shows, I was anxious to see if they actually lived up to those posts. WOW!!!! I can say 110%. Talk about pure energy & entertainment. Tommy, JY and the rest of the band reeled off hit after hit, with not one filler. The sound was as pure of a sound that I have ever heard at any concert. And their stage presence?......Not many bands of yesterday or today, could ever match it. Talk about personable. Every member of the band seemed to have had a connection to every fan there. From actually posing for fans taking their pictures (yes, cameras & cellphones were everywhere up front), to doing multiple pick throws and just looking like they were having the times of their lives. Before the concert my kids were asking me, "Do we know any of their songs?" After, they were saying "Oh yeah...I have heard those songs before." To sum it up for Styx......Awesome band with an awesome sound and killer set list. Do not show up late and miss one note of their performance."
